In close connection with the fabrication of pressure vessels, ATB has also developed Head Forming Department which acts as an independent sales unit on the international market.

The forming facilities are one of the most equipped in Europe in terms of power capacity and allow forming of both hemispherical and elliptical heads in single piece or in petals on the basis of the diameter involved.
Maximum forming capacity of elliptical head in 1 piece is 3900 mm I.D., 140 mm thick and 20 Ton plate weight. Heads in sectors can be up to 20000 mm I.D. and 200 mm thick. Principal press capacity is 3000 Tons.
