ATB Riva Calzoni

ATB Riva Calzoni Spa has been established on October 23th 2003 by merging the know-how, the experience, the technological capabilities and the facilities of ATB Acciaieria e Tubificio di Brescia Spa (ATB) and Riva Calzoni Impianti s.r.l. (Riva Calzoni).

The two companies have operated for more than 100 years in the business of the design, manufacturing and installation of mechanical equipments for different industrial applications.

ATB was established in 1934 with the outright purchase of the workshops, drawings, designs, patents and trademarks of the former ‘Società Italiana Tubi Togni’ and ‘Società Siderurgica Togni’ established in 1903. Since then, ATB carried out a continuous expansion in order to meet the ever increasing need of hydroelectric project plants, oil and petrochemical industries, thermoelectric power generation plants

Riva Calzoni has operated under different names from 1834 by designing, manufacturing and installing equipments for Hydraulic and Hydroelectric power plants.

ATB RIVA CALZONI SpA have been certified DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 n. 71 100 D 385 of the 7th January 2004

The company belongs to the TROMBINI group which operates several companies in various diversified sectors, such as civil/industrial building/construction, metal carpentry, plant engineering, software services and real estate. The TROMBINI Group is located in ARTOGNE, Brescia.

The company HEAD QUARTER is in RONCADELLE, a few kilometers away from Brescia, where are located the headquarter and the main factory: the company UNIT #2 is the final assembly shop in Porto Marghera, close to Venice port area, 400 meters from the water front, is today providing ATB the capability to manufacture and dispatch equipments without transport limitation as far as weight and dimensions are concerned.

Pursuing the traditional policy of co-operation and a better penetration of the market in areas of strategic interest, ATB Riva Calzoni developed in these years several partnerships with local manufacturers in the new industrialized countries for know-how transfer, supplying the basic and detailed design for fabrication of these components to be settled there.

From 2000, ATB operates in Pasir Gudang, JB, Malaysia, MMHE-ATB JV, a joint venture company in partnership with Petronas, the giant well known State Oil Company .
